This was the image that sorta got things buzzin' for me while still in school. It was the fall of 2005 and I was trying to wrap my head around web design and coding (6 months later I'd come to terms with the fact that  didn't care much for the coding side of it). I was working on my portfolio website back then, and it was my senior year at MSU. Our capstone was supposed to be in Interactive Web Design. That was my academic path and I don't even think I understood what it was at the time! I was never much of a coder, and really only used the computer for surfing the web and making images. I had been working in photoshop since the late 90's at that point.

At any rate, I created this from a photo of myself and posted it to Facebook to promote my new url and site. I got all sorts of buzz from my network over the image and how dope they all said it looked, etc. Seems like that was a couple lifetimes ago now!
