Out on the Butcher Jones trail with a pregnant Sammy. This was the more mellow hike of the two we did together while in Arizona. It was mostly cloudy as you can see, but the different types of clouds added a lot of depth to the sky. It was February 2019 and it was really nice to get away from cold, gray northern MI. I had never been to AZ before and I banged a lot of good frames out there. I also had a really, really fun trail run on Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. It was scary, but good scary. The kind of scary that lets you know you are alive.
